Logging gym work
The Gym tab in the player app is where you record strength sessions — both the plans your coach assigns and any extra work you do off-plan.
Who it's for: players. (Coaches review gym work on the dashboard; they can't log a session for you.)
Today
The Gym tab opens on Today. If your coach has assigned you a session, it's here — tap it to work through it. If nothing's assigned, or you trained off-plan, use Log a session to record it anyway. A clock icon takes you to your history.
Logging a session
The logger walks through four steps:
- Session info — pick the type (full body, upper or lower), the date, and how long it took.
- Build the session — add each movement: the exercise, sets, reps, and the load in kg (bodyweight movements skip the load). Add as many blocks as you did.
- How did it feel? — set your RPE from 1 to 10 (how hard the whole session felt) and add any notes.
- Review & save — check the summary — date, type, duration, RPE, total tonnage — and save.
History and detail
History lists your recent sessions with date, duration, type and RPE. Open one to see the full set-by-set breakdown, your total tonnage and session load. For sessions you logged, you can edit or delete them, or share a tidy summary card.
Why log honestly
Your tonnage, RPE and completion feed straight into your coach's view and your own trends. Accurate logs mean your load is managed on real numbers — and that the adherence your coach sees reflects what you actually did.
