Coaching on mobile
Coaches and admins can open the player app at /me and get a coach hub —
enough to run the squad from the side of a pitch, plus the ability to see exactly
what any player sees.
Who it's for: admins and coaches.
The hub
The hub leads with Concerns — the same automatic flags as the dashboard (filter pills, dismiss / watch actions) sit in a bold block at the top. Below that is a set of large, tappable tiles:
- Manage squad — the full roster, including adding a new player and editing availability and basic profile details.
- Schedule — view and edit upcoming training and matches; scheduled gym sessions show here read-only (manage those in the web app).
- Load management — a squad load snapshot: recent load versus each player's base, with ACWR bands and weekly volumes.
- Testing — run fitness tests pitch-side: the beep engine, timer and stage-dropout capture, buffered offline.
- Conditioning — build individualised running prescriptions and read the grouped cone-lane sheet (COD drills on mobile).
- Match timing — record game half start/end times from the touchline, offline (a match day tile).
- View as player — step into a player's shoes.
The hub has no bottom nav; each screen has a link back to the hub. Tap the account icon for Help & Docs and Sign out, and switch teams if you coach more than one.
View as player
Pick View as player, choose a player, and the app shows their dashboard exactly as they see it — their sessions, trends and match history. A sticky amber "Viewing as [name]" banner stays at the top so you never forget you're in their view; tap Exit to come back to the hub.
This is the quickest way to answer "what is this player actually seeing?" before a conversation. A few things stay off-limits even in view-as: you can't submit their wellness check-in, log gym work as them, or change their device notification settings — those are the player's own.
What stays on the desktop
The mobile surface is deliberately lean. Org settings, StatSports credentials, feature toggles, the exercise library, template building, reports and the deeper GPS analysis all live on the dashboard. Crucially, the two most sensitive profile fields — a player's federation (StatSports) ID and manual MSS override — are hidden on mobile by design, so they can't be changed by accident.
